Some people may ask themselves "Isn't it a crazy schedule to adhere to? Wouldn't it be too much to constantly go on a whim of someone else?", and we say to these people a loud, clear, meowing "No!". Living with a cat makes everything better. Why would we mind putting "Cute cuddling time" or "Snuggling meeting" into our calendars? Who would refuse that?
Having more cats in your life is never bad. On the contrary - it's the best thing a person can achieve. This is why being a Crazy Cat Lady is actually a compliment, never an insult. So, when you need more cats in your life? We usually turn to consuming cute cat memes. It's floofing funny, and brings more cat joy into your life.

icanhascheezburger_feedUnfortunately, we know that we cannot adopt every cat that we see. We want to, but there is a limit. That doesn't mean that we can't help as many cats as possible. TNR - trap–neuter–return - oftentimes, this is the best solution. If you see a stray cat that is struggling, and you want to help, one of the best things that you can do for them is take them to a vet and help them get better. And although we know that not everyone can do this either, we certainly encourage as many people as possible to do it if they can.
That is what this person thought they were going to do - they just wanted to give this cat a quick TNR, and that is it. But the cat was too sick to be left outside again. It would not have survived on its own out there. So, this rescuer took it as a sign… that this cat was meant to be theirs.

Downed power lines, fallen tree branches, and a tidal wave of tumultuous debris left their yard looking more like a scene from Twister than a well-kept garden. But amidst the rubble and through the whipping winds of the hot storm, they heard the faint sounds of a kitten cry, drawing them in like a homing beacon. Alas, beneath the trash and the stormy debris, they found a lost kitten in desperate need of a helping paw.

That means it is our duty, humans with a conscience, to help innocent creatures in need who are not and do not know how to prepare for this kind of extreme weather. It was almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit where she lived and this very small cat was all on her own. The poor baby was looking rough, too, with her eyes almost swollen shut. When she first approached, the kitten was extra spicy, hissing and swatting. But the woman persisted!

icanhascheezburger_feedThis stressed-out pawrent is facing a real claws-for-concern situation after leaving their affectionate cat with a casual cat sitter during a big out-of-state move. What started as a hopeful arrangement quickly turned into a fur-raising mess. At first, the sitter sent regular photos and videos, but those updates stopped after just a few days. When the pawrent politely asked for more, the sitter got defensive and instead of a real-time check-in, she sent an old nighttime video. Not exactly comforting.
But the real drama? The sitter admitted to feeding the cat less on purpose to "teach him to obey." Not only is that not okay, it borders on controlling and cruel, especially since this isn't her pet.
